Chris Griffiths is a UK based photographer specialising in live music, location, and portrait photography. Blending creative storytelling with a gritty, authentic style, Chris works with musicians and artists to produce bold, professional visuals – from electric live shots to cinematic promo videos. Whether on stage, on location, or behind the scenes, Chris captures the moments that define your sound.
My location shoots are about using place to add meaning and character to an image. We can choose environments that feel natural to you, matching your brand and project, and using surroundings to shape the mood of the shoot. Sessions are relaxed and collaborative, focusing on honest moments and strong visual identity, creating imagery that feels authentic.
With lighting, composition, and background carefully shaped, I create clean, considered images that put you front and centre. I guide each session with a clear plan while keeping things comfortable and unforced, helping artists feel confident in front of the camera. The result is polished imagery designed for press, releases, and consistent branding across platforms.
My live music photography has taken me around Europe, and focuses on energy, atmosphere, and connection capturing the unrepeatable moments that happen on stage. From small clubs to festival crowds, backstage to front of house, I document performances with a candid eye for emotion, movement, and the details that define your biggest night.

After covering several dates of Feeder’s Comfort In Sound 2025, my photo was selected for the cover of the bands upcoming release of Comfort In Sound Live.
Releasing on 27th February 2026, the album is a curated live performance of their 2002 album Comfort in Sound, and will include two bonus tracks from the shows.
CASE STUDY
In July 2025, I attended Suceava Blues Festival in Romania as an ambassador and journalist. Across three days, I photographed performances from Ana Popovic, Ian Siegal, Sugar Queen Blues and Kai Strauss, reviewed the event for multiple publications, and led a workshop in concert photography for local young people. The experience combined creative documentation with education and cultural exchange — a genuine privilege to contribute to one of Eastern Europe’s most vibrant blues festivals.
