Oh man, Robert Jon and The Wreck aren’t just ones to watch anymore, they are slaying at a whole new level.

Not only was their gig at Islington Assembly Hall incredible, but the whole day was fantastic hanging out with them and @blackhamimages, not to mention Joe Coombs guesting and These Wicked Rivers on support. One of the gigs of the year, without a doubt.

Apologies for the radio silence over the last few weeks. Life threw in some extra hurdles that I’ve been navigating, but coming out on top! Now that’s I’m permanently back in London and have a functioning internet connection - let’s get back up to speed! Plenty of photos on their way over the coming weeks!

Sunday saw the full band premier of Martin Harley’s “Morning Sun”, his latest release and believe me, it’s fantastic. Joined on stage by Rex Horan, Holly Carter, Harry Harding and Paddy Milner; this was an evening of reflective blues and southern tones that had the sold out audience at The Half Moon Putney loving every minute and cheering for an encore.

The enigmatic Gary Clark Jr wowed a capacity crowd in Kentish Town Forum on Tuesday night. Fresh from supporting Eric Clapton, Gary returned to London as part of his JPG RAW tour. With crowd in the palm of his hand, he put on a show layered with blues, rock, soul and RnB and with both his guitar playing and voice on top level, curated a sonic journey for us in attendance.
